Introduction to the Little Babog Family
The Little Babog Family is made up of four people who go on trips together. They’ve been to more than 60 countries and lived on all seven continents. Their goal is to get other families excited about traveling and show them that it can be done on a budget and with kids.
They think that being a parent should be fun and that kids should learn about and experience as many different cultures and things as possible. Traveling has given them the chance to do this, and now they want to share what they’ve learned with other people.
On their blog, you will find tips on how to travel with young children, advice on where to go and what to see, and stories from their own experiences. You will also find resources such as packing lists and printables to help you plan your own family adventures.

Travel Tips for Planning a Trip with Kids
When you’re planning a trip with kids, there are a few things to keep in mind to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Here are our top tips:
1. Choose your destination wisely. Not all destinations are created equal when you’re traveling with kids. Consider factors like weather, kid-friendly activities, and whether there’s enough space for them to run around.
2. Plan ahead. Don’t put off planning your trip until the last minute, or you’ll end up in Stress City. Book your flights and accommodation in advance, and make sure you have a solid plan for each day of your trip so you know what everyone will be doing.
3. Pack light. This is especially important if you have young children with you on the flight. You don’t want to be lugging around a lot of luggage, so only bring the things you need.
4. You should be ready for anything. Kids can be hard to predict, so you should be ready for anything on your trip. Bring along plenty of snacks and drinks, extra clothes, diapers/wipes, sunscreen, etc.
5. Slow down and go with the flow. One of the best things about traveling with kids is that it forces you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Don’t try to pack too much into each day – leave some time for spontaneous adventures and just relaxing as a family.
Life Lessons Learned from Our Experiences
We all know that life is full of lessons. Some of them we learn the hard way, while others we seem to absorb without even trying.
For me, some of the most valuable life lessons I’ve learned have come from my experiences as a parent and a traveler. From dealing with jet lag and homesickness to learning how to budget and plan for a trip, I’ve had to figure out a lot on my own.
1. Patience is a virtue.
This is something that I’ve definitely had to learn as a parent. Things don’t always go as planned, and when that happens, you just have to go with the flow. Even though it’s not always easy, it’s important to keep in mind that being patient is a good thing.
2. You can’t control everything.
No matter how much you plan or how prepared you are, there will always be things beyond your control. You can only do your best to go with the flow and be adaptable.
3. Life is unpredictable.
This is something I’ve definitely learned from traveling. No matter how much you plan, there will always be things that you didn’t expect. The key is to roll with them and enjoy the ride.
Essential Gear and Tools for Parents and Kids on the Road
When you’re on the road with your family, there are a few essential items that you should always have on hand. These items will make life on the road much easier for both parents and kids.
Here are a few essential items that every family should have when they’re travel:
For the Parents:
-A good quality stroller: This is a must-have for any parent who is traveling with young children. A good stroller will make it much easier to get around with your kids in tow.
-A baby carrier: When you’re on the go, a baby carrier can save your life. It lets you stay close to your baby while still having your hands free.
-A portable high chair: It’s great for families who are always on the go to have a portable high chair. It’s easy to put together and take down, and it gives your child a safe place to eat while you’re out.
-A travel crib or playpen: A travel crib or playpen is perfect for giving your little ones a safe place to sleep or play while you’re on the road.
For the Kids:
-Comfortable clothes and shoes: Make sure your kids are comfortable while they’re exploring by packing them some comfortable clothes and shoes. Avoid anything too constricting or uncomfortable, as this can make them irritable and crank
Sharing our favorite places to visit from all over the world
Our family loves to go on trips and see new places. Here are some of our favorite places we’ve been to together around the world.
Australia is a great country for families to explore, with plenty of kid-friendly activities and attractions. We particularly enjoyed our time in Sydney, where we visited the iconic Opera House and Bondi Beach. The Great Barrier Reef is also a must-see when in Australia – it’s absolutely incredible!
New Zealand is another amazing country to visit with kids. We were blown away by the natural beauty of this place – from the snow-capped mountains to the pristine beaches. We enjoyed exploring Auckland and Christchurch, and spending time in nature at Abel Tasman National Park.
Japan is such a fascinating country with so much to see and do. We loved going to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and learning about the different ways of life in Japan. From samurai warriors to geishas, there is a lot to learn about Japanese history and culture. And, of course, the food is great.
These are just a few of our favorite places in the world. We could talk about so many more! No matter where you go with your family, we hope you all have a great time and make new memories.
